Boulder Therapeutics is now contracting Sports Massage therapists and Advanced Injury Massage Therapists at our Boulder & Superior locations. We can provide some injury and medical massage training if you enjoy working with injured clients. And we LOVE helping our clients get results!
BOULDER LOCATION—We have positions open at this location immediately
Our Boulder location is in our collaborative, multi-disciplinary wellness center providing massage therapy, acupuncture and dry needling. We have 5 private offices and a movement space to demo home care. We are very busy and well-established and work with athletes, injuries and clients in need of more advanced work. We encourage our therapists to utilize their skills and truly help our clients. There are many opportunities for collaboration with the acupuncturists and massage team.
While many clients book online, you help with rebooking, checkout and running credit cards (we’ll show you..it’s easy). We are also open to helping launder your sheets at our locations. BOULDER HOURS NEEDED: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (possibilities for other shifts)
SUPERIOR LOCATION—We have full & part-time positions open at this location immediately
Our Superior location is in a massive, sports performance center (over 100,000 sq ft) with indoor soccer teams, ice hockey teams, personal training, physical therapy, yoga, a fitness center and a Crossfit gym. It’s a very busy, fun, active, collaborative office and we all work together as a team. You will be working closely with the personal trainers, PT clinic and sports teams on-site. The gym members will be in need of massage to recover from their workouts as will the athletes after their team training or games. It’s a lively environment where it’s easy to talk to the members, athletes, PTs and trainers to help build your practice quickly. Many competitive teams will also be training in the facility and it’s a great opportunity to work with these athletes. Our rooms are quiet and located inside the on-site PT clinic.

About Us
Our owner has been a massage therapist since 1999 and has worked with professional athletes and teams. At our offices, we all work with athletes and our advanced therapists work with injured clients, Auto Insurance and Worker’s Comp clients. We take SOAP notes after all sessions. You will be working as an independent contractor and will be contracted to work specific shifts at our offices (with opportunities for more shifts available if you want them). Our therapists have been with us for many years and we are looking for sports massage therapists who want long-term work.

Requirements:
*Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado with DORA
*Trained in Sports Massage and can provide Deep Tissue Massage Therapy
*Able to work independently, schedule clients online & collect payments. (training for specifics will be provided but you must have a solid background with all these things. We use the MindBody software.).
*Must be very detail-oriented for note-taking and extremely responsible. We take thorough SOAP notes on every client.
*Professional liability insurance is required.
*Must have reliable transportation.
*Have computer & internet connection at home w/ability to check online schedule. We do all of our scheduling online.
*We often communicate thru email & text message so a smartphone is preferred. Text messaging is required.
Our team is committed to health. If you’re looking for a massage job where you clock in, work a full shift and clock out, then this is NOT the right position for you. We work together and sometimes communicate before/after your working hours to discuss client care, paperwork, billing, etc because we LOVE what we do!
Preferred:
*Undergraduate degree
*1-2 yrs experience w/athletes and/or injuries
*Proficiency with MindBody software
*Experience filling out many types of paperwork & treatment notes for insurance clients. You will be taking thorough notes on all of your clients and insurance clients have very specific SOAP requirements. Having the ability to manage many types of SOAP notes will be required so strong organizational skills are a must.
*Yoga practitioner or familiar with yoga poses or workout in a gym and know a bit about exercises.
*Physically active individuals preferred. We like to practice what we preach.
Compensation:
Base pay: $37-$50/hands-on hour + tips (depending on experience and # of shifts, laundry service)
Contracted therapist
You’ll supply your own lotion and sheets (unless other arrangements are made).
Only paid for hands-on hours.
