Moriah has been treating injured clients and clients with autoimmune disorders since 2002. She specializes in Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and relief of chronic pain patterns. Moriah has worked in hospitals, physical therapy clinics as well as chiropractic and acupuncture offices. She has helped many people regain normal functioning after accidents and chronic pain conditions. She blends a yoga background with her studies in Kinesiology along with therapeutic techniques from massage and bodywork. She uses Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Therapeutic Stretching and Breath Awareness in combination to customize the work for the client to achieve optimal results. She is also trained in Prenatal massage.
Moriah’s work is slow and deep. She guides her client to move deeper into their body through the use of their breath while applying therapeutic techniques. She has worked extensively in The Mobility Lab at CSULA with clients who were recovering from spinal cord injuries and after graduating, taught massage to the students in the Kinesiology program as part of their curriculum. She has special interest in Eastern energy techniques to enhance healing that she learned from her studies in India and Nepal.
