She merges the many teachers, practices, and skill sets she has gathered from around the world to meet you where you are at and facilitate a journey to help you uncover the most authentic you.
As an athlete since the time she was a little girl, Larissa is fascinated by the inner workings of the human body, proficient in injuries, muscles, and how to support the body when things are imbalanced. Her approach to the body is a combination of physical understanding of the body and a more spiritual and energetic approach, giving her the tools to work with any person, as surface or deep as they are willing to go. As a teacher and nanny, she brings a sense of humor and playfulness to her practice.
Larissa has a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and seen. Her infectious personality and engaging attitude with all clients of any age, gender, or state of health creates an open-door attitude. This presence allows clients to immediately feel safe and comfortable in Larissa’s space, which lends to a massage experience that moves deeper than the surface. She tunes in to each body and has a seamless professionalism to her work.
Experience: Larissa has been practicing bodywork since 2010 in many different forms. The art of healing through her hands has been an intuitive call for over a decade, bringing her to learn and practice techniques from around the world. She lived in India, where she became invested in Reiki healing and Ashtanga Yoga. After years abroad of both teaching children and studying bodywork, she moved to Boulder, CO to attend the Berkana Institute of Massage. She has experience working in studios, clinics and spas.
Interests: When she is not in the studio, you can find her playing in the great outdoors, snow or sun, rain or shine. She is an avid snowboarder, scuba diver, rock climber, hiker, yogi and loves moving her body and engaging with the natural world in new and creative ways. Much of her passion stems from being a global citizen, so travel is always top of mind. She has a story from pretty much anywhere in the world which makes her relatable to every walk of life.

“Every now and then you find a therapist that understands your body’s issues and has the skill to address them. I found that therapist in Larissa. Her slight of build bears no relationship to the strength in her hands and you recognize this instantly. She is not a “spa” therapist nor does she take a symmetric approach to her massage process. Instead, she is acutely aware of muscular, tendon and nervous system issues in your body and responds to them in a unique way for each session. No two sessions are the same because your body is a dynamic space. I have had two lumbar back fusion surgical procedures in the past year and decided to try soft tissue massage over standard physical therapy as my primary course of recovery. I got lucky in finding Larissa and am enjoying the spoils of finding a truly gifted therapist who is laser sharp in her skills. At times the sessions can be quite painful but the results are absolutely measurable. Larissa is a gem. -Randy”
